Return to Sport Check

Once the acute phase of rehab is over and you have reached the first milestones in mobility and strength, we will use functional tests to evaluate whether you are ready for the next step on the way back to training.

Even if you are still unsure whether you can return to training or your sport after an injury and would like our assessment, we can support you with the Return to Activity Algorithm and other tests.

After the tests, we will give you training recommendations and input for further physiotherapy and work with you to develop an exercise program tailored to your needs.

Return to Activity Algorithm® (RTAA®)

We use the OSINSTITUT ’s Return to Activity Algorithms (RTAA®) to manage your active rehabilitation objectively and individually.

With the help of RTAA®, patients are gradually introduced to their desired activity in everyday life and sports. Regaining basic functions (e.g., jumping, supporting, rotating the spine) plays a central role. With the help of tests and retests, rehabilitation is objectively guided and tailored to the patient's individual resilience. Concrete intermediate goals provide motivation and make the rehabilitation process tangible and understandable. Your training plans can therefore always be adapted to your current performance level and goals.

The Return-to-Activity Algorithm® ( RTAA® ) was developed for the upper and lower extremities as well as the spine and is used in the rehabilitation of recreational and competitive athletes (including Bundesliga football) as well as non-athletes.
